3D Animation – Dragon Stick

One of our first assignments in my Advanced 3D animation class was to create a character and rig it. The prompt given to me for this project was a candlestick-dragon. While the paint weights are still rough, I was able to play around how the joints are constrained and move within the geometry. The “fingers” are attacked to set-driven keys to help aid in easy animation.
